In launching Monteith’s Cider I was looking for new and innovative ways of engaging the public, driving brand exposure and ultimately getting people talking about Monteith’s Cider. I chose Nextbikes as part of the media mix based on a similar and very successful outdoor campaign that I had observed off shore. “Worth talking over” was the Cider campaign tag line. Nextbikes offered great exposure through the central city and an interesting talking point. They were also proactive with ways to further leverage our Nextbike campaign to gain more exposure for Monteith’s Cider. Our original campaign ran for 4 months over summer and was extended.
I’ve found Nextbike to be excellent value and an effective marketing tool for Monteith’s. We will be using Nextbikes again in the future.

Resene is well known for its striking colours, innovation and dynamic business enthusiasm. This is evident in our decision to advertise using Nextbikes. We are constantly on the look out for new and innovative ideas to promote our business and keep Resene top of mind with New Zealanders. On first being approached by Nextbike I was impressed with their genuine desire to create something positive for Auckland through public bikes. Resene advertised on 20 Nextbikes initially for 4 months, which we extended based on the value and exposure. As part of Resene’s advertising mix Nextbike provided great exposure in central Auckland. Our colour range and Environmental Choice creative really stood out on the bikes and I received regular comment on our Nextbikes. The free riding credits that Nextbike gave to Resene for promotional activity were well received. They were very proactive in offering ways for Resene and our customers make best use of these.
Nextbikes have been a superb way for Resene to reinforce our commitment to the environment and celebrate our long running green culture in a fresh way. Thanks Nextbike!

Hubbards are a company that aims to make a difference and believes it can. We’re proud to be associated with Nextbikes helping to provide healthier and environmentally responsible transport options for Kiwis. Hubbards began our relationship with Nextbikes in October 2009 advertising on 20 bikes across Auckland. The initial 4 month advertising campaign was extended for another 4 months and we have been very happy with the results. Over the course of the campaign we have used our Nextbikes as a sampling vehicle (filling the baskets with product), provided free bikes and bike tours to Ronald Mc Donald House and provided free riding for the Real Woman’s Dualthlon competitors. Nextbike has been easy to work with over this period.
I feel we’ve gained excellent exposure with our fleet of Nextbikes and I’ve had allot of positive feedback from staff and the public. I’m more than happy to recommend Nextbikes to other marketers.

Auckland Regional Transport Authority took 20 bikes for a 6 month campaign from 2008-2009. The "Summer brings out more bikes" campaign used a range of media that also included a number of busbacks, posters, newspaper and web banners. We saw the Nextbike media as being very relevant to the bike safety message in the central business district. We believed the bikes showed good value and this was demonstrated when an online, post campaign, survey showed that 1 in 50 had become aware of "Summer brings out more bikes" campaign from the Nextbikes
