Nextbike operates a ticket scheme for regular riders - "Registered Rider" tickets. As a Registered Rider you are entitled to one free ride, to a maximum of 30 minutes, per 24 hour period - "Free Period" , for so long as you are registered. When your Registered Rider status expires you can either renew your ticket or become a "Casual Rider". Casual Riders can still ride, but are not entitled to the Free Period.

Nextbike has standard bike rental charges for all bike rental, other than Free Periods. Our charges are based on each period of 24 hours starting at the time of rental, or if relevant, the expiry of the Free Period, and ending 24 hours later:

$4 per hour for each of the first 3 hours of riding
$16 maximum for upto 24 hours of riding
$64 for 1 week
$112 for 2 weeks
$144 for 3 weeks
$160 for 4 weeks

Additional costs are:

$500 if the bike is not returned
$100 for returning the bike somewhere other than recognised return area
$50 if the helmet is not returned
$30 if the lock is not returned
$16 if the recorded address is unclear or the bike is not at that address
