The Nextbikes work best as business bikes in the following situation:

Bike rack is close to the front door on the ground floor. This makes pick up and drop off easy for staff and allows reception to issue vouchers for rides that are business related. In addition it helps to keep the option top of mind for staff and customers.

Centrally located office building. The Nextbike fleet lives in the central city and surrounding suburbs and works well for those commuters who work centrally and commute using train / bus / ferry.

Office population >250. This increases the potential number of riders and ensures that there is chance for a community or culture of riding to develop. This population maybe spread between a number of business at the location.

Active transport plan and planner. The majority of large business make transport plans and those that continually revise and build on them get the most return and staff behaviour changes.

Riders register with Nextbike. This removes any administration time on the system for the transport planner, and allows the users to rent Nextbikes from other parts of the city or country.
